The Zune software is also an awesome tool that makes my life easier. The vendor shipped the device expeditiously and it arrived as described in the advertisement.This Zune is a serious work horse, it fires up when I need it and can store tones of music and video. My 30G Zune was purchased used. The only complaint I would have is with not being able to create permanent playlist on the go. Its one of the older generation Zune's but still meets all of my needs. I actually have my family videos loaded on it and can share at the touch of a button when on the go with friends and family. The only way to do the permanent playlist is through the Zune software on your PC. I love this Zune and have no plans of getting another player anytime soon.
Fast delivery and a great product that seems more durable and dependable than an iPOD.
Got one of these instead of an IPOD and even though I prefer the controls and the large screen to your average IPOD its lackluster software and ability to only use certain mp3s leave something to be desired.
I've had my zune 30 for just over 2 years now, and things are working better than when I bought it. The hardware has proved durable, and the software has been updated and new features such as games. It does everything I need it to do.
The original software is complete hell. Do not wander away from buying this product because of the bad reviews with the original software. The only complaint I have with this product is the unreliable software. This product has great memory and an easy to use navigation system.
I have never had a problem with my Zune freezing or glitching. Overall, if you are solely a music lover and you only care about the sound quality and memory of the device, than this product is perfect for you. I didn't need all the flashy games or apps that come along with the Ipod Touch. I ended up just breaking the disc in half out of frustration. Although I have my problems with the new software, at least it works.
My Ipod was very glitchy and froze about every 30 songs. The software that comes packaged with the Zune is useless and really messes with your computer, at least it did with mine. I have never come across such a poorly put together program in years. Buy a Zune 30 GB if you are looking for a cheap, yet high quality and high memory mp3 player.
I purchased my Zune 30 GB merely for the purpose of listening to music. I have owned an Ipod 30 GB. Although Itunes is much better than the Zune software, the device itself is more reliable than my Ipod was. Over the past Six months that I have owned my Zune, I have had zero problems with the device itself, just the software. I strongly suggest that when you get your Zune, stray away from the original software and just download the newest available software from the official Zune website. Buy this device if you want a "bang for your buck". The hard plastic type body that the Zune has is very durable and almost unscratchable.
If you have the money upgrade to the Zune HD or Ipod touch. (I had to download a program called Un-Zoon just to get it off of my computer). Once you download the new soft ware it really makes the device itself much easier to use; the display is crisper and it just flows much better. You cannot find a better device for around 130 bucks.
